Guaranteed Systems For Stabilizing Settling Foundations & Structures

Two methods are used to support compromised foundations – foundation push piers and foundation helical piers. The foundation repair experts at BL Bennett Construction can determine which is the preferred system for your specific needs and will provide you with a free estimate for the repair.

Push Piers

Push pier systems are a simple, cost-effective remedy to an unstable foundation that will provide you with a long-term result.

Our push pier systems are manufactured with industrial-strength, galvanized steel. They have a high resistance to corrosion with a 100+ design life in moderate soil conditions.

Foundation Push Piers

A BL Bennett Construction push pier system stabilizes the foundation of your home…AND does it without the disruption and high cost involved with a full foundation replacement. At BL Bennett Construction, we always recommend the fastest and least invasive method to repair your settling foundation. If you’re seeing cracks, uneven flooring or countertops and doors or windows that jam or stick, you may be experiencing the warning signs of foundation problems.

Our push pier systems feature high-strength steel pier sections, hydraulically driven through heavy-duty steel foundation brackets. These reach deep down into the soil to enforce load-bearing strata. Our piers extend far below any problem soils and friction is not relied upon for capacity. We use our push pier systems in both residential and commercial applications. We can complete pier installation year-round, without the major disruption to your everyday home life caused by other popular methods. Push piers create a stable foundation and provide an opportunity to restore your home to a level position in a cost-effective way.

Advantages to Push Piers:

  • Year-round installation
  • Create stability at a greater depth than other options
  • Long life – our galvanized steel piers are exceptionally resistant to corrosion
  • No invasive equipment required
  • Foundations restored to level position in most cases
  • Restores the full value of your home

Foundation problems only worsen with time. Call BL Bennett Construction to address your foundation issues before a greater investment of time and money is required! Call or email us to schedule a free evaluation of your home today.

Push Pier Installation Steps:

Step 1: The footing is exposed and prepared for a bracket. Step 2: Foundation bracket and footing are secured.
Step 3: Sections of steel pier are hydraulically driven through the bracket to bedrock or solid soil. Step 4: The home’s weight is funneled through the piers to load bearing soil or bedrock. The structure is restored to
a level position whenever possible.

Helical Piers

BL Bennett Construction also utilizes helical piers to stabilize compromised foundations by transferring the load of the structure from unstable soil to competent soil strata below. The Journal of Light Construction reports that installing helical piers is much more time efficient than rebuilding a concrete foundation, usually taking at least a week or two less than a full rebuild.

Helical Pier Systems

Our helical pier systems can repair your damaged foundation and restore the full value of your home. The appearance of interior or exterior wall cracks, a leaning chimney, or gaps in window and door frames, may indicate that you have a foundation problem. Call BL Bennett Construction to guarantee that you recieve the most cost-efficient and least invasive solution for repairing your settling foundation.

Helical pier systems will stabilize the foundation of your home and provide you with a long-lasting solution to restoring the level position of the structure. Round-shaft helical piers do not buckle easily – they have the torsional strength to lodge firmly into stable soil, unlike square-shaft helical alternatives. One of the main benefits of our helical pier system is that it does not use the weight of the structure as resistance during installation. This means that our helical piers can be used equally well with both heavy and more lightly loaded constructions. Smaller, lighter construction problems as sinking stoops, decks or sunrooms are easy to resolve with helical pier systems.

Helical pier installation is completed by twisting or “screwing” the piers into the soil with small construction equipment, or even handheld equipment. Once the piers have reached the proper depth in the soil, heavy-duty steel brackets are placed under the footing.

Helical Pier Advantages:

  • Year-round installation
  • Rounded shaft does not bend easily
  • Works equally well for heavy and light structures
  • Long life – our galvanized steel piers are exceptionally resistant to corrosion
  • Weight of the structure does not determine depth and capacity
  • Foundations restored to level position in most cases
  • Restores the full value of your home
